I come from Taipei, Taiwan. Prior to joining School of Hotel & Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a full-time PhD student in September 2002, I taught in hotel and restaurant management in Diwan College of Management, Tainan County, Taiwan. I received my B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, U.S.A. My current research focus is on knowledge management applications and intangible assets assessments in the hotel context. Backed by industry experience, formal education, and research interest, my goal is to serve as a successful and professional educator and researcher in the hospitality field.

Knowledge Management Application in Hotels

This study aimed at identifying what KM can do for hoteliers and why hoteliers should adopt KM and build knowledge assets to remain a competitive position in the marketplace.
